Keyara's First Easter

Jackie, Keyara and Maya came to church for Easter Service. It was nice having them in church.
Easter morning started off with breakfast with the church. When Pastor June walked in and saw Keyara, she beelined straight for her. She hadn't really seen her and had an opportunity to hold her since she was born.

Keyara is so engrossed in looking around and not wanting to miss anything and everyone is just as engrossed in seeing her!! She loved the attention!!
After breakfast, the LYO held an Easter Egg Hunt for the children of the church. The Youth hid fun filled eggs around the backyard of the church and the kids were all too eager to be off and running!! Keyara is watching all the kids whhizzing about and it looks like she's wondering what they are doing!! LOL

Jackie, Keyara and Maya after the egg hunt. They announced they had one more thing for the kids and Maya was ready to run but stayed for the shot. The second the click went off though, she was running!! LOL

All the kids gathered around Miss Sheila for a giant group hug. This isn't all the kids, but the ones that I managed to catch on the camera before they ran to looking at all their treats!!

After the Egg Hunt, we headed into church for service. Service started with the flowering of the cross. I think it turned out really nice this year!!

The Flowered Cross is processed out after service and put in the front yard of the church to signify the rising of Christ and the renewal we are granted in his death!
Blessed Be!

She's so grown up!

Rebecca has been having bad headaches lately so we took her to the eye doctor and, of course, she needed new glasses. She's had the same glasses for several years and it was time.
Up until now, we have picked out her frames for her but she wanted to pick her own frames this time. And, Mom didn't go with her this time, so this was a total surprise when she came home!

It was like an instant transformation!! From little girl to young lady -- all with the change of glasses!!
From this --
To THIS!! She's looking SO grown up!!
